I am a veteran educator of 30 years with a Masters of Arts in Teaching from American Jewish University and the Director of Jewish Family Learning at BJE Los Angeles.

I am the author of The Jewish Educator’s Companion (2017, Behrman House) and the producer and host of the podcast, Overthrowing Education.

I give workshops, courses, consulting and coaching for educators at universities, conferences, schools, and other organizations internationally both in person and online. I also create curricula steeped in active experiential, inquiry driven and student-centered learning for various schools and organizations.
